Paramahamsa Vishwananda
Paramahamsa Vishwananda is a God-Realised Master, born in Mauritius in 1978 and who now travels the world spreading the message that it is only by becoming Love that we can realise God within us. With him guiding us, we walk Bhakti Marga, or the path of love. He is known amongst his devotees as ‘Guruji’ and he introduced to us the concept of the 40 centimetre journey from the mind to the heart.
Between 2006 and 2020, I underwent a series of radical life changes that altered my world and my view of myself. Through some intensely challenging experiences, Guruji showed me how the world is a mirror of who we are, how suffering is a result of how we think, how the journey of life has profound purpose, and that every one of us is headed for perpetual joy.
He showed me how my thoughts made me blind to the real world, how they made me suffer, and he showed me how to transform them so that I could find the joy that lies hidden in every human being.
This work belongs to him, and it belongs to those who seek the most profound Love of all. The Bhagavad Gita teaches us that once we have learned to live its teachings, then we must pass them on. Guruji moves through the world teaching that there is only one way to be happy on a permanent basis, and that is to become the love that you seek. The Mirrors Work is an opportunity to do just that. It is an extension of his teachings, a way to embody them. It offers you the opportunity to go within and remove the barriers to love that anchor us in misery, that make us live lives of quiet desperation. For me, the Mirrors Work is a gift that I treasure.
