During this year, my daughter has repeated bouts of bronchitis, and for the first time, I visit a holistic therapist. Through this encounter I make the profound discovery that disease reflects how we view ourselves, how we think about the world and our place in it, and how we feel about the quality of our lives. Following this breakthrough, I go into deep observation mode and begin to realise that our environment, the people in it and the situations we find ourselves in are all a mirror of who we are. 

The Mirrors Work becomes incorporated as a central teaching module in my Reflexology and Reiki Healing classes. I deliver these courses to a small group of students. At this stage, we recognise that the mind and body are mirror images. We are what we think, and so along with the healing, we offer clients a counselling session to help them to view their lives and experiences differently. 

Specific Mirrors Work modules are incorporated into Leadership Development courses for the corporate world. Leaders are encouraged to drop old paradigms of thinking and see their business challenges through different eyes. They utilise entirely different mindsets to keep their organisations evolving through volatile times.

The 'Master's Journey' public courses run during this time, introducing field exercises that help participants to focus on their environment in order to understand the deep issues that cause their suffering. Here, the Mirrors Work takes a profound turn and begins to take participants on an exploration of their inner lives. 

The Mirrors Work undergoes a series of transformations, which I test on various private clients.  I use it as part of my Life Coaching work.

In 2014 Swami Paranthapa of Bhakti Marga South Africa begins to teach a section of the Mirrors Work to Bhakti Marga devotees.

The Mirrors Work undergoes a profound overhaul, with its 10 Principles now deeply rooted in the Bhagavad Gita and enriched by the wisdom of my Guru, Paramahamsa Vishwananda. Last year, Ratna, a devotee and founder of Dharma Awakenings, joins the journey, bringing her expertise in facilitating personal transformation experiences in others. Her skills  in developing conscious leadership in corporate environments and creating safe spaces for change, makes her an ideal partner for the Mirrors Work. In 2024, we launch seven transformative modules over three weekends, with participants sharing deeply emotional testimonies of the powerful shifts in thinking and personal transformation.
